James "Rich" Johnson. Who will hopefully be illustrating from one of his own stories appearing in Issue #8. |

Any news on issue 8? It's all been very quiet around here lately. I'm impatient I know! |

That cover has kick ass splattered all over it. Well done, Mr. Johnson! |

Nancy is one of my favourite Murky Depths illustrators. She's illustrating Juliet E McKenna's story in Issue #9. |

Thanks for the kind words everyone. Aside from Recall, I've not managed to absorb anything else yet, but will do and add my thoughts. The colours and comp worked out well on the cover - slick. |

I think the colours and halftone effect give it a pleasing retro look. | |||

It's good to see the return of Ed Norden to the pages of Murky Depths. I'm a big fan of his work. As for James Johnson and Alberto Cortes' Hero in Hell, well, I only have one problem; why didn't I think of this! It is a great concept, as all of James' stories are, and Alberto's art looks great. As always, I am impressed with James' versatility as a writer. The Recall Recalled article was interesting and I am glad we had a chance to see Neil Morrisey's interpetation albeit in an unfinished form. As for my own offering, The Wrath of God, I think it the story I am most proud of so far. The only problem is that I wish I had added a recap to better define Goulding and Halo's relationship and, more importantly, the fact that Halo is part angel. Is it okay that I think Leonardo M. Giron's Primevera from Richard Calder's Dead Girls is hot!? Luke |
