. . . and it's Chris Moore! Yes, Chris has agreed to illustrate the cover for Issue #7 so, if there are any writers reading this, we're looking for stories with spaceships for March 2009 and we're already accepting stories for Issue #6 so don't hang about!

Looking forward to this one. Be great to see ABHOD in there - I knew you couldn't resist Glen's awesome artwork. Acronyms - the perfect teaser.

You definitely would.  Check out the main site and click the Murky Shop tab at the top.  There's all kinds of bundle deals that'd save you some moneny.

It's the artists who have to live up to the stories, they are sent a selection and choose the one they want to interpret. So each illustration is inspired by the story.

That's a beautiful idea - the story should inspire the illustration - but how intriguing if we writers were given the reverse task.

My poem in the Promo Issue #0 did just that with Garry Brown's illustration.

Chris Moore's cover illustration should be in our hands by the end of the week and it's going to look awesome on the front of Issue #7! It'll be our first cover that doesn't include a woman . . . directly, and continues our promise of diverse covers. Hopefully Chris will be signing copies at Eastercon next year. I don't think it's been announced yet but he's going to be one of the special guests.

It's a wraparound too (so Chris Moore might be selling A2 prints of the whole illustration at Eastercon LX). What can I say . . . it's awesome!

Looking forward to it. I haven't subscribed yet, but will be doing so at the end of the month, roll on payday! I'll have to check out the special bundle offers as I'm also interested in back issues.

Also, I think this is the issue that might include a short by yours truly, so i'll be doubly excited

The cover is awesome. We're not going to be so careful about holding onto the image until publication date this time. In fact if Abi (or is that Abbey or Abbie?) has put up all three of our posters in Manchester's Travelling Man you'll be able to see what Chris Moore has come up with. Oh yes, and it's a wrap-around.
