Thought I'd start a new thread for general feedback on issue #9. First, I just want to say, I have no idea what alchemy you guys get up to but this latest issue smells amazing. Good enough to eat, mmmhmm.

Right, on to the stories and art. I love the cover for this issue. Very colourful but moody at the same time. The whole magazine seems to have a slightly different feel to it this time round. Shinier and more solid in my greedy mits. And a stronger emphasis on prose stories too.

There was a lot to choose from but I'd probably go for Distant Rain by Andrew Knighton for my favourite story because of the imagery and amazing characters. For artwork, I'm going to say Jenna White's illustration for March of the Broken. I love her style and the amount of detail she puts into her work.

Already itching for the next issue. Keep them coming.

Thanks, Candra

Yet we cocked up on page 6 of Luke Cooper's Wrath of God - Part 2. We reprinted the Part 1 page six page! We'll be putting up the correct page at the website soon. Luke says 2000AD used to do that a lot. Not what we want to make a habit of it and we're putting new procedures in place to stop it happening again - Isn't that what the spin-doctors say?

Any comparison to the mighty 2000 AD is a good one. Think of this little snafu as an extra reason to buy the Glimpse of Hell graphic novel collection when it comes out.

I felt that this issue of Murky Depths was the strongest yet for art. Everyone involved did a great job. I was especially pleased to see more Denis Pacher and, of course, Giron's work on Dead Girls was gorgeous.
