I feel the need to rant.

I don't understand the misplaced hatred people have for remakes and adaptations. Let me loudly declare that I enjoyed the following movies; A History of Violence, The Punisher, Punisher: War Zone, the X-Men Seris, Spider-Man 3, Constantine and a load of others that sickens comic book fans.

I have read the comics that these movies are based on and, guess what, when I watched the them the comics didn't vanish from the face of the earth. They were still there on my shelf. What I am trying to say is that a movie adaptation, bad or good, does not defile the source material. I can watch Judge Dredd on DVD and get one experience and then read a Dredd graphic novel and get a completely different one. Why is that a problem? How many James Bonds have their been? How many Doctor Whos?

Entertainment is supposed to be a fun way of passing your time. Don't be so precious.
